About Bellevue - Transportation

About Us

Visit Bellevue Washington provides meeting planners, leisure visitors, corporate travelers, and convention attendees with information and resources to help them tap into all that Bellevue and the Puget Sound region have to offer. Working with a coalition of Bellevue hoteliers, retailers and purveyors of local attractions, Visit Bellevue Washington identifies travelers interested in visiting Bellevue and through the Visit Bellevue Washington website, an Expedia-powered booking engine, and a comprehensive Bellevue Visitor Guide, provides resources to help plan a memorable get-away or a successful convention.

Visit Bellevue Washington's convention sales team focuses on attracting meeting and convention groups to Bellevue. Bellevue offers many convention groups the opportunity to be a true city-wide convention by making use of Meydenbauer Center along with lodging and meeting space at hotels throughout the city.

Bellevue's City Council named Visit Bellevue Washington the city's official Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) in May 2011, recognizing Visit Bellevue Washington as "the principal organization in Bellevue that is organized to solicit and service conventions, and if desired, other types of visitors, and is defined by the City Council as the representative organization exercising those functions."

The Bellevue Convention Center Authority (BCCA) provides oversite for Meydenbauer Center who staffs Visit Bellevue Washington. Visit Bellevue Washington is guided by an advisory committee comprised of civic and business leaders. Visit Bellevue Washington is funded through a combination of Meydenbauer Center's Operating Revenue, Bellevue's Transient Occupancy Tax and partner organizations.
