VBW Mission Statement

Visit Bellevue Washington's primary role is to tell the Bellevue story and help increase the number of travelers interested in visiting our community. Increased visitor spending brings direct economic benefit to the community through taxes generates by visitor spending.

In 2013 the Bellevue Visitor Impact Model estimated:

  • 1.4 million visitors (1,008,936 overnight visitors and more than 400,000 day-trippers) spent an estimated $492 million in Bellevue.
  • Local and state tax revenues directly generated by travel spending was $65.9 Million in 2013.
  • Total employment directly generated by travel spending in 2013 was 9,909 jobs and $342 Million in Wages.

VBW accomplishes its mission by informing and advising visitors about all there is to see and do in Bellevue. We promote our visitor experience through a variety of channels including print, online, social media specific to the visitor, a full service website and execution of a media relations plan.
