Holiday Events
From open-air ice skating and trees aglow with lights to drummer-lined streets and nightly "snowfall", Bellevue is bursting with holiday cheer during the winter season. Festivities begin in late November and continue through January. Below is an overview of Bellevue's major annual holiday events. Bellevue Magic Season
A holiday tradition produced by the Bellevue Downtown Association, Bellevue Magic Season returns each year with six festive weeks of brilliant lights, glistening ice, memorable music and spectacular performances.
Ice Rink
Skate and celebrate the season with family and friends at the region's largest open-air holiday ice skating experience, Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink. The festive venue at Bellevue Downtown Park is a 22-year tradition offering shelter for all weather skating, free parking, and a series of special events including Free Skate Mondays, Stroller Skating, Free Skate Lessons, and theme skate events.
Holiday Theatre Performances
Connect with the arts at The Theatre at Meydenbauer Center with a selection of holiday dance, music and theatre performances by local and regional performing artists.
Garden d'Lights
Watch nature blossom into color during the winter months at Garden d'Lights at the Bellevue Botanical Garden. The lights festival features over a half million lights that transform the flowers, trees, and bushes into a winter wonderland.
KidsQuest's Gingerbread Lane
Snowflake LaneKick off the holiday season with KidsQuest Children's Museum's Family Gingerbread House Workshops at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue. Work together with family or friends to decorate a unique gingerbread house to take home for the holidays.
Snowflake Lane at The Bellevue CollectionSnowflake Lane at The Bellevue Collection, is a magical evening performance taking place nightly on the streets of downtown Bellevue. Snowflake Lane features more than 200 live toy soldier drummers, costumed characters, lively music, falling snow and glittering lights. Plus, don't miss the holiday performance by the Jingle Belles.
