April 22, 2018
Location:
Bellevue Library

Bellevue, WA 98004
Time:
2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Play the ukulele in this welcoming class for beginners.Everybody loves the ukulele – so happy-sounding and easy to carry! – but how do you play it? Award-winning songwriter and experienced teacher Wes Weddell will start with the basics – how to tune it, how to hold it – and introduce some easy chords that fit with familiar songs (handouts provided). By the end we'll be playing together, and you'll have the tools to pursue new skills on your own or with an instructor. Register to reserve a uke or bring your own uke! Register to come back for Wes's Ukulele Song Workshop on May 5, 3:30-5pm.
