Arts & Culture

Bellevue's burgeoning art scene bursts with soaring sculptures, steal-your-breath-away performances, a world-class art museum, and a number of audible delights for countless ways to feed your creative side.

Bellevue Arts Museum is a place that ignites the mind and fuels creativity. With its unique focus on art, craft and design, BAM connects people of all ages with extraordinary works by Northwest artists while bringing national and international exhibitions to Bellevue.

Bellevue's downtown showcases nearly 130 works of public art available for anyone to enjoy. Many are readily seen by simply walking down the street or through the Downtown Park. Pick up the Downtown ArtMap at Bellevue's City Hall or the information kiosk at Meydenbauer Center or download the map and start exploring.

If your interests include theatre and dance then check out the performance calendar at The Theatre at Meydenbauer Center. This intimate 410-seat theatre plays host throughout the year to an array of productions by local, regional and national performing arts groups as well as a number of new-to-the-area performing arts groups that reflect Bellevue's ethnic diversity.

Visiting with children? We invite you to enjoy hours of delight and discovery at KidsQuest Children's Museum. This innovative hands-on museum for children and families is designed to engage kids from infancy to age eight.  Art, science, technology and daily life experiences are integrated in world-class exhibits with strong ties to the Pacific Northwest.

Eastside Heritage Center is committed to preserving the past as it builds community and connects people with their heritage.  EHC maintains and preserves a collection of artifacts, photos and archival material telling the stories of communities in East King County, Washington.  EHC shares this collection through exhibits, books, research services, presentations, and engaging public and educational programming.
