Seattle Space Needle

A visit to the Seattle area isn't complete without checking out the view from the world-famous Space Needle. Located at Seattle Center, the Space Needle was built for the 1962 World's Fair. An elevator ride whisks visitors to the 520-foot-high observation deck of this iconic tower.

While you are at Seattle Center be sure to enjoy science and culture amidst  the innovative and interactive exhibits at Pacific Science Center, take in a new art experience showcasing the most significant works of internationally acclaimed artist and pioneer Dale Chihuly at the Chihuly Garden and Glass or cavort in the shooting waters of the International Fountain. From there you can hop aboard the Monorail for an elevated glide to downtown Seattle.

Transportation to Seattle Center is a 15-30 minute drive or a quick bus ride. Several metro bus routes from Bellevue connect directly to Downtown Seattle at the Westlake bus tunnel.
